Brizzly is a step up from twitter’s user interface.  For one, the side bar with trends provides an small explanation to the each one.  Second is a facebook news feed tab.  Twitter Lists are part of the deal too.

Scientists Work On Hearnessing Wasted Heat Energy for Double Battery Life

Double the life of battery by capturing the wasted heat exhausted by the hardware?  Daily Science reported an article regarding in engineering as the holy grail in thermodynamics. The interesting part of this research is battery technology has not experienced a breakthrough in years.  This could be the one. Maybe an Apple Tablet can finally become to be.

Harnessing waste heat from laptop computers, cell phones may double battery time.

Bet on the Future: No Need for Local Storage

Chrome OS displayed a glimpse of Google’s bet on the future.  Google is positioning itself to be the center of cloud computing.  Instead of consumers buying bigger and bigger HDD for mobile devices,  Google will offered their storage and web apps.

Consumers predominantly experience computing via their web browser.  If applications can be used exclusively on the web, why install it on desktops? Yes, a web connection is essential.  But no need for large local storage when everything needed is on the Web.  This makes sense when mobile devices become everyday usage in computing.

Five different crocks found.  It appears not every dinosaur has been discovered, leaving room for exploration.  Maybe there is still hope to become my childhood dream profession: dino hunter.
